If a customer's account uses another currency, the customer's financial institution may perform currency conversion.

The relevant financial provider determines exchange rates and conversion charges, which are generally outside Fix By Nerd's control.

9. Taxes and Additional Charges

Depending on the transaction, customers may also be responsible for other clearly disclosed charges.

12. Quote-Based Transactions

Fix By Nerd may conduct reasonable verification when a transaction presents security concerns or requires additional confirmation.

Verification may be used to reduce fraud, unauthorized payments, chargebacks, or misuse.

An order may remain pending while we complete reasonable verification.

14. Declined Payments

A payment may be declined because of insufficient funds, incorrect billing details, card restrictions, security controls, expired payment credentials, or decisions made by the applicable financial institution.

Customers may need to contact their payment provider or use another accepted payment method.

15. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

If a customer believes they have been charged incorrectly or more than once for the same transaction, they should contact Fix By Nerd promptly with the relevant order and payment information.

Fix By Nerd may review available transaction records and coordinate with the payment processor where appropriate.

16. Payment Holds and Pending Charges

Digital licenses or other products may not be delivered while required payment remains unresolved.

18. Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be returned using the applicable original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for a refund to appear may depend on the payment processor, card issuer, or financial institution.

Refund eligibility is governed by the Fix By Nerd Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

19. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers who believe a transaction is incorrect are encouraged to contact Fix By Nerd so the issue can be reviewed.

If a chargeback or formal payment dispute is submitted, Fix By Nerd may provide relevant transaction, order, delivery, or communication records to the payment provider as permitted by applicable law.

Fix By Nerd will not knowingly interfere with a customer's legitimate right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge.

20. Transaction Security

Fix By Nerd and its payment providers may use reasonable security measures intended to protect transactions and detect suspicious activity.

However, no online payment system can be guaranteed to be completely free from security risks.

Customers should protect their payment credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized use to their financial institution.

21. Fraudulent Transactions
